The wires in the ceiling light burnt out (contact short?) and threw the breaker on the weekend. We called to book them to come see. We were told over the phone that we had emergency or regular options since we kept the breaker thrown. They came as booked, on time, and the tech was SUPER nice and helpful and absolutely didn't mind me asking a hundred questions about the what's and why's of the (nearly) 30 year old light fixture.Once the repairs were done, he checked other switches for similar issues that might come up, identified potential problems for the future and gave us a time estimate on THOSE repairs should we choose to go forward with them.He also walked me through a some quick install and monitoring tips for putting in a new ceiling light fixture and what to keep an eye on in case the wires shorted again (house build in the 80's, so ... ya...)Overall, he was patient, communicative and we really appreciated how quickly they were able to come.Will use again! (mostly to fix some ancient wiring issues but that's for another day).

I was very impressed with JMV Electric. They were very responsive and actually scheduled an appointment to occur within 24 hours of contacting them. The electrician, Simon, was very friendly and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. I had questions on other projects I had been considering and he was able to discuss those with me as well and I received a quote on the other projects the next business day. We called JMV Inc to come install a 220 V plug for a new sauna and to install a few other regular outlets. We also had an outdoor outlet that wasn’t working. Julian and Simon showed up for the appt and were excellent. We went over everything that needed to be done and they discussed with us how they would do it and when I got home it was all done and looked great. They were a pleasure to deal with, always answered their phone and the price was reasonable. I know I will use them again as I have some renos still to do. Highly recommend them
